Zumbador Verde de Puerto Rico E Green mango hummingbird

You hover, a jewell in my island dream,

Sipping from blossoms where shadows gleam.

You carry the pulse of the tropic breeze,

The whisper of home through rustling trees.

Your spirit flickers — memory's flame,

In your painted gaze, I hear my name.

Guardian of color, fierce and small,
